Public Domain Hype
I had taken a new interest on web marketing with the use of uncopyrighted works called, Public Domain.
Under the US Law, public domain are works (books, essays, music sheets, songs, etc.), which copyrights has expired and no one renewed them. Meaning, these works could be used by anyone without having to pay any royalty rights and such to an author or publisher. Yes, you may at first find it daunting or scary but it is LEGAL.
My noted fascination on the subject could be derived from the fact not everyone know of the subject’s existence, even for those who are constantly on the net. I stumbled on the topic at one time of leisure surfing and I grew interested with the various things you could do with public domain and the possibilities of earning extra income from it.
With public domain you could do any of the ff:
- Make ebooks out of the content.
- Use content for webpages and adsense.
- Make an ecourse from the content.
- You could redefine the content’s output through audio ebooks, compilation of works, a form of merchandise, etc. The possibilities are endless!
If you want to see public domain works used at its best, you could view the ff for referencee:
